Microgreen snow peas growing at Blue Dragon Hollow

Blue Dragon Hollow is a small farm in Blum, Texas, growing microgreens, table fruits and vegetables, eggs, goats and producing jams, jellies, and candles. Produce is available at the farm Wednesday to Sunday from 3–6 or by appointment. We do offer tours for individuals and small groups, by request. Be sure to leave time during your pick up to look for the dragons. Several dragons have moved in since we cleared out the brush, and many of our guests like to hunt for them.

Our first growing season was in 2023. We started our first farm plot with grapes, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, peonies, currants, lavender, echinacea, rosemary, tomatoes, peppers, corn, green beans, okra, yellow squash, zucchini, watermelon, cantelope, chamomile, carrots, beets, basil, and cilantro. Our microgreens are grown indoors, year-round, and we started with wheat grass, sunflowers, peas, mixed salad greens, alfalfa, and radish. Our goal is to provide our local community with healthy, farm-fresh goods.

We encourage teachers, troop leaders, youth groups, and parents to bring their kids to the farm. We have space in the fields for field day games, animals to get to know like horses, goats, and chickens, and we are happy to teach a little farm knowledge, gardening skills, and animal husbandry. Please contact us for availability and pricing and to schedule a date for a visit.
